The paddle flocculators are available both with vertical axis as well as with horizontal axis.
The use of one or other solution is dictated by the type of tank foreseen.
Drive group: it is usually foreseen with a variable speed drive to adjust the peripheral Speed to process requirement.
The motor is usually foreseen in IP 55 protection and the gearbox has a standard Service factor of 1.5 min. The movement transmission is made thru rigid coupling in case of vertical axis and thru chain in case of horizontal axis.
Floccuiators: a shaft carrying the frame to which paddles are attached composes it.Paddles are usually supplied in pitch pine wood.
In the horizontal version axis the shaft is supported to walls and it rotates in self- Lubricants sleeves.
